The Vice Practice is open Monday - Fridays from 9am - 6pm. Our phones turn off at 5:00 pm. We accept walk-ins for established patients between 9:00 AM to 11: 00 AM. All visits are by appointment only. We do accept same day appointments.

What is The Vice Practice No Call/No Show/Late Cancellation Policy?

The Vice Practice values the time of our patients and our providers. We kindly request that our patients give us a 24-hour notice if they are unable to keep their scheduled appointments. This is far more generous than the industry standard of 48-72 hours.

If a patient does not call or show up for a scheduled appointment, or cancels with less than 24 hours notice, this will count as an 'occurrence' (aka violation) of our No Call/No Show/ Late Cancellation Policy. A $100 fee will be assessed for the missed appointment.

If a patient arrives more than 9 minutes past their appointment time, this will count as a missed appointment, and the patient will need to reschedule. A $100 fee will be assessed for the missed appointment which must be paid before the appointment can be rescheduled.

More than 2 occurrences of no call-no shows, late cancellations, or late arrivals in a rolling calendar year will result in discharge from our clinic.

Can I call to schedule an appointment?

If you are an established patient, yes, you can call to book an appointment. However, you will most likely need to leave a voicemail, and staff will return your call.

How can I cancel my appointment?

The Vice Practice, we understand that life can be unpredictable and that you may need to cancel an appointment. To cancel your appointment, please call us as soon as possible on our phone number at 725-724-2005.

Include your name, appointment day/time, and general reason for your cancellation (i.e. 'scheduling conflict', 'forgot', 'sick child', etc. - we don't need specifics, but our health records system makes us include a reason).

Cancellations must occur at least 24 Hours before your appointment time. Cancelling for any reason, with less than 24 hours from your appointment time will count as a 'Late Cancellation.' 2 or more late cancellations or no call/no shows in a rolling calendar year will result in discharge from the clinic.

What insurance do you take? Do you take my insurance?

We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. For a comprehensive list of insurances we take, please click here. Although your insurance may be on this list, we may not take your plan.

If you are unsure if we accept your insurance plan, please call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and make an inquiry. Although, as a courtesy, we do our best to check if we are in-network with your insurance, insurance is extremely complex and not straight-forward. Oftentimes, we only discover that we are not in-network with a particular plan after we submit a claim and it is denied. If this occurs, you will be financially responsible for your medical bill.

Why did I receive a bill after making my copay?

At The Vice Practice, we strive to provide the highest quality of care for our patients. Even after making a copayment, some services may be subject to additional charges due to factors such as the medical complexity or length of your visit, laboratory services, medications, medical supplies, and other miscellaneous fees.
